About the event
Since the late 18th century, the classical music world has largely been dominated by orchestral music. It's not difficult to see why this has been the case—as an ensemble, the orchestra is capable of producing an overwhelming range of colors and sounds. The only problem? It's virtually impossible to replicate this massive wall of sound outside of the symphony hall. That is, until organist Yuri McCoy's masterful arranging ability meets pianist Yvonne Chen's dazzling virtuosity! Join us to hear these dynamic orchestral transcriptions up close and personal.
